Google Analytics: Transitioning from Universal Analytics to Google Analytics 4

On July 1, 2023, Google's standard Universal Analytics properties will stop processing new hits. More Information

All existing Google Analytics properties (tags) need to be transitioned to Google Analytics 4. The deadline for transition is July 1, 2023. Existing customers with an older, Universal Analytics Measurement ID will need to create a new Google Analytics 4 property and provide Rievent with the new Measurement ID.

Steps to Generate the Measurement ID

  1. Login to your Google Analytics account and navigate to the "Admin" section.
  2. Click "GA4 Setup Assistant", then "Get Started."

  3. Click "Create Property."
  4. Click "Go to your GA4 property."
  5. Click "Data Streams."

  6. Click the stream in order to view the Measurement ID. Provide Rievent this Measurement ID.
