The image upload tool can be used to add images to places like the Overview Page, Certificates, Content pages, or anywhere in the platform where the WYSIWYG editor is used.
When uploading an image, you can choose to upload as an Activity Image or a Common Image. Activity Images are intended to be used only once, whereas Common Images can be used over and over again across activities. The ACCME logo or your organizations logo are good examples of Common Images, as they may appear on every certificate or overview page. An activity banner would be an example of an Activity Image.
Uploading a New Image
- From the WYSIWYG editor, select the image icon .
- Go to the Upload tab and click the Choose File button.
- Select the image you want to upload, then click Open.
- Next, decide whether you want to upload the image as a Common Image or Activity Image.
Common Image: Select this option if the image will be reused across the different activities or certificates. The ACCME logo or your organizations logo are good examples of Common Images, as they may appear on every certificate or overview page.
Activity Image: Select this option if the image will be only be used in the current activity or certificate. An activity banner would be an example of an Activity Image. - Click Upload.
- If needed, adjust the image height and/or width. Be sure the lock icon is closed so that the height and width ratio remains the same when making adjustments.
- Click OK to insert the image into the page or certificate.
- After inserting the image, you can then go back and make further adjustments to the image size, border, vertical spacing, or horizontal spacing by right-clicking the image and selecting Image Properties. You can also double-click the image to bring up the Image Properties window.
Making an Image Responsive
- Double click the image from WYSIWYG editor.
- From the Advanced tab, you can add CSS customizations to the image.
IMPORTANT: In the Stylesheet classes, add "img-responsive" so the image automatically adjusts size based on the screen size the viewer is using (smartphone, desktop, ipad, etc.).
Browsing Existing Images
- From the WYSIWYG editor, select the image icon .
- From the Image Info tab, click Browse.
- Next, select the image. You can toggle between Common Images and Activity Images.
Common Images: Select this option to browse all common images that have been uploaded. The ACCME logo or your organizations logo are good examples of Common Images, as they may appear on every certificate or overview page.
Activity Images: Select this option to browse images that have been uploaded to the activity currently selected. - If needed, adjust the image height and/or width. Be sure the lock icon is closed so that the height and width ratio remains the same when making adjustments.
- Lastly, click OK to insert the image into the page or certificate.
