Version 9.5 of the Rievent Platform was released on Tuesday, February 28th at 6am ET.
The Rievent Platform was upgraded to provide improved security, fault tolerance, data integrity, and performance. Core components of the Rievent Platform are upgraded, so Rievent can continue to provide uninterrupted, fast, and secure services.
Rievent is hosted on Amazon Web Services and meets security standards including Payment Card Industry (PCI), Data Security Standard (DSS), BS ISO/IEC 27002: – 2014 Code of Practice for Information Security Controls, and additional security requirements.
Customers using Rievent web services and customers integrated with the Rievent Platform should be aware of the following:
- Rievent requires that Rievent API web services and secure pages be accessed using TLS version 1.2. Prior versions of TLS are no longer supported due to security requirements.
- Connections to third party or customer web services originated from the Rievent Platform will also be initiated using TLS version 1.2. Rievent systems will not connect to services not supporting TLS 1.2.
- Rievent increased Apache web server security to meet PCI DSS and other standards.
